Spring has finally arrived, and warmer weather is just on the horizon. Now is the perfect time to get your AC system ready for summer’s cooling months. Below are three things you can do right now to prepare:
- Schedule a maintenance call: If you have an HVAC contractor, call them and set up a maintenance inspection. A thorough evaluation by a qualified professional is key to achieving peak system performance. Your technician will make adjustments, spot potential problems, and make necessary repairs to ensure you'll be ready for summer. If you do not have a contractor, always choose one highly rated by the Better Business Bureau.
- Change your filters: Clean filters are vital to the health of your system. They protect both you and your system from dust, dirt, and debris. If you are unsure about what filters you should be using, be sure to contact a reliable HVAC company and let them determine what you need.
